You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe ShaftGearBearingHousing system is a central configuration in gear transmission mechanisms. Methods like the Finite Element Method (FEM) are used to model the components followed by dynamic simulations to predict the behavior of the gear pairs and other components under dynamic loading. The complexity arises from contact nonlinearities at various positions in the transmission system. This research project aims to perform dynamic simulations of selected gear transmission components. Model order reduction techniques will be applied to accelerate these simulations. Additionally the dynamic performance of the gear transmission will be analyzed and assessed.
