Job Description: Purchasing Project Management
We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented individual to join our team as an Commodity Purchasing Associate. In this role you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for components and commodities required for our organizations operations. Your primary goal will be to ensure the timely and costeffective procurement of highquality commodities while maintaining strong supplier relationships.Responsibilities:
- Procurement Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements for components and commodities and develop procurement plans accordingly.
- Supplier Identification and Evaluation: Identify potential suppliers for components and commodities conduct market research and evaluate suppliers based on their capabilities quality pricing and delivery terms.
- Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate pricing terms and conditions with suppliers and finalize contracts to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
- Purchase Order Processing: Support for creation of purchase orders in line with organizational policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Support & Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that purchased components and commodities meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to optimize costs through supplier negotiations volume discounts and alternative sourcing strategies.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers conduct regular performance evaluations and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws regulations and industry standards related to electronic commodity purchasing and manage risks associated with supply chain disruptions price fluctuations and quality issues.
- Qualification / Requirements:BE/ B. Tech in Mechanical Automobile Industrial Production Engineering with 4 to 8 years experience in Supply Chain Management Engineering in related to vendor management procurement or supply chain roles
- A Project Management Certification and prior experience can be advantageous.
- Proven track record in developing and managing vendor relationships.
Handling of international clients and Supplier base
Technical Skills:

- Expertise in assessing and selecting vendors managing contracts Driving Ratio Planning Change Management
Procurement Systems:
- Proficiency with procurement software (e.g. SAP Oracle ECM Future) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Data Analysis:
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions about vendors and procurement strategies.Key Competencies:Project Management:
