Join us for your placement year in summer 2025! Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what its like to work for a worldrenowned brand with a culture of support and community.
The Technical Training Department is industry leading and has set the benchmark in the heating sector for many years. Training is deemed by Bosch as one of the key strategic drivers in supporting business success and being part of the team you will be able to contribute to its future.
The Training Department consists of around 25 people the administration team has 6 members in total. We train customers throughout the UK in our stateoftheart Training academies Mobile training vans Colleges and Partner centres. We train customers on gas oil renewables commercial and industry qualifications. The industry is transitioning to green technologies and as a result we have developed and expanded the electrification courses we offer to support this industry change.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Taking training calls: advising customers booking courses taking payments giving out information and dealing with queries
- Managing the departments shared mailbox
- Data maintenance tasks and administration support
- Assessment invigilation (Overseeing customer assessments)
- Completing department statistics
- Facilitating Online assessments

Qualifications :
Please note that to be eligible for this role you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.
Our ideal candidate should have:
- Great communication skills communicating politely and confidently with customers colleagues and other internal departments.
- Good attention to detail decision making and organisational skills.
- The ability to prioritise their workload.
- Good initiative with the ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
- Key IT skills/be computer literate.

Contract Duration: 1 year
Working Hours: 39 hours per week standard working pattern of 08:00 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 16:00 Friday with a 1hour lunch break
