Job Description

Join us for your placement year in summer 2025 ! Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what its like to work for a worldrenowned brand with a culture of support and community.

This opportunity is to support with administration and project work within our PreSales Design department. The PreSales Design department is a multifaceted department covering customerfacing presales support heating system design product specification and system optimisation. The role would be suitable for those studying a degree in business or project management specialisms.

In this role you will be responsible for:

The placement will focus on supporting administration tasks within the department including but not limited to:

  • Gather information relating to Heat Pump project specification
  • Administration of project files for specification & heating designs using MS Access
  • Liaising with design project engineers in the planning of projects
  • Progress projects with sales managers architects developers installers & homeowners
  • Provide general support to PreSales Design as required
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement for heat pump related departmental processes

Qualifications :

Please note that to be eligible for this role you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.

Our ideal candidate must have:

  • Be computer literate in industrystandard packages for office use.
  • Have good organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Have the capability to communicate well in a team and work using own initiative.
  • Have a high attention to detail.
  • Be able to communicate confidently with people at all levels.
  • Be willing to learn new software and skills

Our ideal candidate should have:

  • A keen eye for technical solutions and problem solving.

Contract Duration: 1 year

Working Hours: 39 hours per week standard working pattern of 08:00 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 16:00 Friday with a 1hour lunch break
