You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are currently offering an opportunity for a Masters thesis project focusing on control over communication networks. Due to network congestion a networked control system may experience timevarying delays which impact the systems performance and stability. Stochastic control in combination with a delay model can be used to take into account these effects. Network effects will be simulated using an emulator and the controlled system will be an inverted pendulum either as a simulation or a real demonstrator. The candidate has the option to design and benchmark different stochastic control methods such as classic feedback or predictive control.
