Job Description
M/PPVVDS1 is responsible for the Purchasing management project of the division Vehicle Motion.
Project Manager and interface for Division / Business Unit and Material field Purchasing for strategic and operative topics.
Position is responsible for the efficient release of purchased parts in the region in coordination with new product launches. Ensure the achivement of project goals (cost quality deadlines budget an capacity). Purchasing interface to the Business Units and change management for life of product.
Specific Duties
Interface between Corporate Purchasing and the Business unit
Responsible for MAT cost and capacity at product level
Responsible for request of quotation of new projects saving projects and following tools
Managing of Engineering Changes affecting purchased components
Product technical interface to suppliers
Project management in the field of external procurement for every new projects (platform variants applications) worldwide
Responsibility for achieving project goals (expenses quality scheduled dates budged)
Participation in the SETeam coordination of SEWork with suppliers
Performing technical supplier discussions
Interface with purchasing organization for strategic and operative topics
Supervision of series products(Engineering Change Management)
Establish second suppliers
Responsibility for ratioprojects and change management
Qualifications :
Mechanical or Industrial Engineer
Project Management
Interpretation of technical drawings of engineering areas
Experience in Automotive Industry
Expertise in Production processes
Knowledge in Automotive quality
Tools and purchasing processes
