Your contribution to something big:
As a Commodity Buyer you will join a purchasing project team in a global environment and become part of our Competence Center for Residential Water Heaters in Aveiro.
You will join a fastpaced environment full of growth opportunities where your dedication to excellence and customerfocused mindset will drive success in this highdemanding targetoriented role.
Your responsibility
- Drive the global material field strategy of electrical water heating systems in close alignment with the global product owners;
- Supplier management & supplier strategy on the assigned material groups;
- Cost analysis and management conduct annual price negotiation with suppliers market scouting/analysis and cost benchmarking;
- Contract management Supply chain risk management.
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you:
Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Management or similar;
Experience: Previous commercial purchasing experience for material field purchasing. Experience in a complex multicultural and international setting;
Know How:
- Good understanding of supply chain production and industrialization processes.
- Knowledge of SupplyOn SAP or similar ERPs is valued;
- Proficient in Excel.
Personality and work style: Interest in working within an international environment. Good communication and negotiation skills. Solution oriented mindset with interest in working in a continuously changing environment with new processes and digitalization tools;
Language: Excellent domain of English written and spoken;
Availability to travel.
