Job Description
- Equipment Technician maintains and repairs all electrical/electronic systems in the facility and sets up new equipment using a combination of job knowledge and test equipment to improve the technology of plant machinery and to keep it in good working condition.
- Responsible for the maintenance and adjustment of the Inserting equipment and components
- Perform routine scheduled maintenance such as cleaning oiling replacement of worn parts etc.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and submit orders for part as needed to ensure continuous operation of equipment
Qualifications :
- General knowledge of small/light equipment and machines and the mechanical operation of equipment
- Requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical functioning of machinery serviced and ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and identify worn out parts
- Ability to understand electrical and mechanical schematics
- Ability to interpret instruction manuals
- Good knowledge of the tools and test equipment used in the diagnosis and repair of equipment service
Additional Information :
The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $20 / hour. In addition to base pay depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential callin pay and standby pay.
