Job Description
Are you a talented full stack engineer looking to step up Do you want to have impact with your work Were on the lookout for a candidate who is ready to take on technical challenges take responsibility and who wants to selfreliantly develop solutions. You will join our small team (9 members) in Portugal. At Inventsys we strive to create meaningful experiences that improve the way people interact with technology.
Inventsys is a Swiss SaaS provider for utility companies in the water electricity and gas sectors. Since 2017 Inventsys has been guiding technical companies and municipalities on their way to digitalized maintenance. With our userfriendly cloud platform and intuitive mobile app our customers save time and resources in the management and maintenance of their systems and networks.
Tasks
- Develop new features and our web app adhering to best coding practices and emphasizing clean code principles.
- Maintain and refactor the web application to take it to the next level.
- Write unit and integration tests alongside coding to ensure code reliability and quality.
- Monitor production workloads identifying performance bottlenecks and troubleshooting.
- Participate in every stage of the application lifecycle from conception to deployment.
- Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in the ecosystem.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development.
- Strong knowledge and handson experience with PHP (Symfony).
- Familiarity with Javascript/React is a plus.
- Experience working with APIs (REST API platform Doctrine).
- Understanding of security principles and modern authentication mechanisms.
- Willingness to work in agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- Resultoriented with a pragmatic approach to problemsolving.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (German is a plus).
