BI Data Science Specialist - Qlik Sense including ETL scripting

We are seeking a talented Data Science and Business Intelligence Generalist to elevate our global analytics platform for entertainment products at NIQ.  

This role focuses on extracting maximum value from data to help our clients understand the entertainment market and their position within it. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and clients to develop design and implement nextgeneration analytic products 

You will be analytical and data driven in your role working as part of a cross functional team with close bands to business partners ITservices and data warehouse teams. 

As a Data Science and Business Intelligence Generalist you will have following key accountabilities:  

• Collaborate with business partners to create tailored solutions for global clients 

• Oversee the regular production and delivery of analytical products to clients and business partners 

• Ensure continuous access to our system in collaboration with the team 

• Gain a deep understanding of our business domain 

• Foster intrateam and crossteam collaboration with business partners data warehouse teams and IT services 

• Develop interactive nextgen data analytics with the team to enhance clients success in their markets 

• Create powerful insightful data visualizations to drive informed decisionmaking 

• Continuously improving data products by redesigning and developing new KPIs with business partners 

Now that weve introduced you to the Data Science and Business Intelligence Generalist position what experience and skills should you have  

Qualifications :

• 3 5 years of experience with Qlik Sense particularly in building meaningful dashboards and analytics 
• 3 years of experience in scripting for data extraction transformation and loading using Qlik Sense 
• 3 years of experience in data analysis and extracting actionable insights 
• 1 year of experience in database or data warehouse development and/or data engineering 
• Proven experience in crossteam collaboration 
• Familiarity with Agile methodology 

Essential 

• Extensive knowledge of Qlik Sense including ETL scripting 
• Advanced SQL skills 
• Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical requirements 
• Strong collaboration skills with business partners and a deep understanding of client needs 
• Commitment to continuous learning and development within and beyond the role 

Highly Useful 

• Proficiency in Python especially with data science packages like NumPy SciPy SciKitLearn and PyTorch 
• Experience in query tuning and optimization 
• Skills in relational database development 
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling 

Nice to have 

• Knowledge in SAP BusinessObjects (WebI UDT IDT CMC) 
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD 
• Understanding of machine learning concepts
