Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional cashier. The role involves processing customer transactions accurately handling both cash and electronic payments diligently and providing a superior standard of customer service. As a cashier youll be expected to use your numerical proficiency and attention to detail to maintain efficient operations.
Job PurposeThe primary purpose of the cashier position is to deliver impeccable customer service manage payments and ensure high accuracy in transactions. Your role as a cashier will entail working efficiently in a fastpaced environment to handle customer transactions and inquiries.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Accurately process customer transactions and receipts of payment
- Handle cash check and credit card transactions with customers
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Resolve customer complaints guide them and provide relevant information
- Efficiently manage customer inquiries and issues promptly
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas while ensuring no customer is left unattended
