Job Description
**$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days) **
Position: BiLingual Preferred Employment Specialist Full Time
Location: Peabody MA
Rate of Pay: $19.55 per hour; plus a $40 additional biweekly stipend for fluency in Spanish
Schedule : 40 Hours per week; MondayFriday 8:30am4:30pm with flexible Hybrid Options
Summary:
- Support individuals with disabilities in reaching their vocational goals
- Case manage and develop employment relationships between clients and community employers providing access to an array of employment job training and educational opportunities.
- Work closely with State funding sources in a collaborative team approach.
- Assist clients with a variety of job seeking skills; resume writing interview skills travel training and job etiquette.
- Get creative with providing; vocational guidance job development job placement job coaching and customer relations with employer.
Candidates with human services job coaching residential care direct care and career counseling experience are strongly encouraged to apply! Bilingual Candidates are strongly encouraged to apply! Qualifications:
- High School/GED or HiSET plus 12 years related experience OR Associates degree plus 1 year related experience and/or training.
- One year of human service experience desired.
- Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Spanish Preferred
- Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word data entry email and internet essential.
- Must have a valid drivers license 3 years driving experience good driving record use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle.
- Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings employers offices and community organizations.
