Job Description

ITP Media India is looking for an experienced and skilled Editor to join our team for a travelbased magazine and website. The selected candidate will be responsible for generating and publishing highquality B2B editorial content across print digital and social media platforms.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in editorial work specifically in the B2B space of travel and tourism. The Editor will be required to build and maintain strong industry contacts in the audiovisual industry in India


Please note that this job opening is strictly for Mumbai based candidates only.

Requirements

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and publish highquality content across print digital and social media platforms.
  • Have a strong digital understanding.
  • Build and maintain strong industry contacts in the travel segment in India and across the world.
  • Support digital and event initiatives of the brand and the product.
  • Oversee layout (artwork design photography) and check content for accuracy and errors.
  • Assign and manage articles features and other content to freelance writers and contributors
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy clarity quality and SEO.
  • Conduct interviews with industry professionals and thought leaders
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and developments from the travel and tourism segment


    Requirements
    :

  • 46 years of experience in editorial work specifically in the travel segment
  • Proven track record of generating and publishing highquality B2B content
  • Strong industry contacts in the tourism segment in India
  • Excellent writing editing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Degree or Diploma in Journalism Communications or related field is preferred though not mandatory.


    Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience working in media properties targeted at the travel and tourism industry in India
  • Knowledge of content management systems and social media platforms
  • Experience with event planning and management


Knowledge and Proficiency: Proficient in creating new opportunity and sale presentations as directed by the General Manager - assisting in path planning, project management, client relations, budgeting, reporting, and general administration. Skilled in sourcing and synthesising information from diverse sources. Proficient in managing partnership packages to ensure delivery of promised print, digital, and social outputs. Knowledge of all integral systems Trello, Zoho, Google Drive, Magnet (training provided) Knowledge of the internal order approval system, key contacts, and paperwork requirements (training provided) Management of the internal month-end closing process across the group Proficient in creating post campaign reports and analysis for key accounts within the group. Management Responsibilities: Management of order workflow across commercial and editorial team - managing editorial and commercial operations across digital, print, and experiential businesses, overseeing resource allocation to achieve targets. Management of Trello across commercial and editorial team - supporting commercial and PR content requests, tracking deliverables, and ensuring editorial commitments are met. Opportunity to represent the brands at key industry events. Project and Account Management: Assist in managing wider teams' projects and accounts throughout their leave periods as needed - acting as a primary liaison across departments, addressing queries, troubleshooting issues, and escalating matters as needed. Establishing, implementing, and supporting the brands events calendar, working and follow-up files for the teams. Assist the teams pre, during, and post-events (guest management, logistics, operations, communication, information, and material management). Supporting the delivery and attending brand events across the group where needed. Media Planning and Relationship Management: Independently conduct media planning based on client briefs and foster relationships to drive comprehensive annual planning whilst identifying commercial opportunities for optimal brand investment. Requirements: Own valid visa Immediate, full-time availability for a 6-month contract period Transport to the office and events
