We are constantly growing and are currently looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Engineering Department in Athens.

What you will need to do:
- Ensures implementation of Companys IMS to the extent applicable to the activities of the team members under his supervision.
- Assists in the preparation of Design Status Reports for Projects / Tenders for which he is acting as the lead engineer.
- Assists the Engineering Team Manager(s) or Project Engineering Manager in the forecast of design workload.
- Assists in the effective training of the team members under his supervision.
- Assists the Engineering Team Manager(s) or Project Engineering Manager in the organization of project/tender team and the distribution of engineering work.
- Ensures that engineering activities performed by him or under his supervision are performed on time determines the causes of any deviation and in cooperation with the Team proposes appropriate remedies to Engineering Team Manager or Project Engineering Manager.
- Establishes a positive relationship with Clients / Engineers. Ensures execution of the Engineering Works in accordance with project specifications and by meeting deadlines.
- Ensures that the engineering database is kept abreast maintained and accessible to Engineering Staff.
- Participates in the selection of best or alternative solutions through analysis of information and evaluation of results.
- Assesses the potential risks of specific engineering solutions/tasks.
- Keeps up to date with applicable Codes Standards and Legislation (per Project /Location).
- Gets members of a project team that he may be leading to work together to accomplish tasks organizes regular Meetings.
- Attends designated meetings both in house and when nominated with client or on sites.
- Initiates administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports.
- Collaborates with and reviews the work of external consultants as required attender and project implementation phases.
- Ensures the fulfilment of the Project quality requirements and contractual obligations for the team engineering activities in compliance with the established procedures.
- Consistently keeps abreast of new design and construction methods.
- Ensures that incoming information is properly transferred to interfacing departments/engineering working groups.
- Performs designs/design reviews.
- Performs any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
What you will need to have:
- BE or equivalent in Civil Engineering and MSc (preferably in an international Englishspeaking University).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience related to Oil & Gas Power Plants Industrial Projects Marine Infrastructure and detailed engineering experience in the field of expertise.
- Previous exposure to international environment will be considered an advantage.
- In depth knowledge of international codes & standards international design guidelines & recommendations.
- Mobility is desirable to participate in working teams at Archirodons project home offices throughout the countries that Archirodon executes its EPC projects.
- Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language.
