Job Description

To expand our team in Switzerland we are looking for Quantity Surveyors (m/f/d) that enjoy managing complex projects in Life Sciences sector and like to work in an international environment. You feel like you are the right person We want to hear from you!

  • Develop implement and maintain cost management procedures and processes to support projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare preliminary elemental and detailed estimates of construction and related costs.
  • Review and evaluate / valueengineer design and outline specifications and exercise cost control in conjunction with the project team.
  • During the construction phase prepare regular cost reports cashflow forecasts and progress valuations for payment.
  • Prepare proactive estimates for variations.
  • Carry out project cost performance analysis to support reporting.
  • Undertake quantitative and qualitative risk analysis on the project costs.
  • Identify the key programme cost issues and focus attention on the critical elements for delivery within the project.
  • Identify significant areas of risk based upon forecast information within the cost reports.
  • Communication of the cost management standards throughout the planning and construction teams.

Qualifications :

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying Architecture Civil Engineering Real Estate or similar.
  • Ideally qualified as a registered Quantity Surveyor.
  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience on constructions projects.
  • Working knowledge of Excel Word and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of cost databases and/or estimating software is advantageous.
