Job Description
We are looking for a Sample Administrator to join our Oil and Gas team on a fulltime basis at the Perth Airport laboratory. This role involves providing onsite analytical testing ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our contracted laboratory and performing a variety of analytical tests with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities includes but are not limited too:
- Ensuring all the samples are registered by the end of day and that all the samples received are placed in cue for analysis.
- Sample enrolment in LIMS1 and SOPHIA working towards superuser for these systems.
- Meet customer expectations with regard to turn around time and quality of analytical results.
- Ensure sample traceability internally and externally.
- Assist with the supply of sampling kits/equipment to customer sites.
- Assist with customer queries and confirm analysis required with clients where required.
- Apply technical knowledge to the appropriate registration parameters within the laboratory database.
- Maintain consumable stock levels.
- Provide general support to the Coordinator Laboratory Operations & client services position.
Qualifications :
- Relevant Technical School qualifications or tertiary studies.
- Demonstrated experience in handling Petrochemical Gas or Chemical Products.
- Proficient computer software literacy.
- Knowledge in Quality Systems.
