We are looking for a QA Developer to join our VOps team.
This role plays a critical role in our software development and production health management. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for assuring and identifying data and software quality throughout our product life cycle. This will include product testing strategies during the development cycle our deployment pipelines as well as assuring and measuring product integrity and quality in our live systems. Working in a highly collaborative environment you will work closely with product management development managers developers and business stakeholders to assure the testability of new features guarantee the quality of features being developed and assuring they meet requirements and specifications.
More specifically you will:
Be responsible for the quality assurance of our ecommerce backend products including our internal warehousing software (VOps).
Design and build test cases prioritizing and validating testing requirements and communicating risk for cases not covered from testing.
Design QA data pipelines to ensure testing environments are set up with representative data to cover agreed upon test coverage
Create and run automated operational tests to generate control reports on live production environments to ensure data integrity during normal system use or data updates.
Have a handson approach to deploying your software test environment (basic shell commands basic Git use).
Build and maintain test plans. Arbitrate the flow of feature and bug resolutions during the development sprints; catch issues before theyre deployed; and revalidate post deployment.
Ensure test plans have an automation roadmap based on expected consistency of a feature set.
Build processes and infrastructure to streamline QA activities increase test coverage and overall increase the quality of our products. Among others this may include continuous integration automated test suites.
Work with other teams to help ensure end to end integration testing is well documented and has sufficient coverage for cross team projects.
Qualifications :
Strong development background in automation scripting data management and automation (JavaScript Python/node.js/Java intermediate SQL skills JSON XML etc.)
Extensive Experience in Software Testing QA methodologies testing processes and testing tools and processes
Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress QASE Postman Jest etc.
Excellent documentation skills to build and maintain test documentation and have a clear understanding of test coverage for any testing playbook.
Strong communications skills to work cooperatively with developers managers and project stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills detailedoriented mindset and patience to find and isolate bugs.
Eager to show ownership and improve products incrementally while being mindful of business priorities.
