As the director you will champion how customers realize value from Ventions turnkey projects. The commissioning function is focused on nurturing key relationships and bringing Ventions latest technologies to market successfully. The commissioning team consists of engineers technicians software developers and project managers. Taking charge of the projects in the final phases of presales the team is accountable for the on time on cost delivery of the scope and is responsible for the installation programming testing and commissioning of our clients projects. Your ability to develop engineering and project management teams in industrial automation will help you influence the products Vention builds and set up Ventions key partners for success. Collaborating closely with the technical sales team you and your team will play a pivotal role in expending Ventions client base and nurturing existing clients. Your vast domain expertise will help you identify development opportunities in Ventions technologies and build the next automation giant.
More specifically your role will include:
Lead mentor and manage a team of engineers project managers and software developers
Direct and implement engineering and project management best practices to ensure ontime and oncost delivery of value to Ventions customers
Direct and implement programs to monitor Ventions efficiency at delivering value and nurturing strong relationships to customers
Lead escalation management for the team and be the path to challenging commercial technical and strategic situations
Direct develop and maintain comprehensive feedback loops with the product teams to ensure acute understanding of what the customers and automation experts need
Lead and drive a customercentric/customerobsessed culture within team and across org
Direct and implement programs to develop and maintain the technical knowledge base of the team at the required level to influence the product organization deliver projects with efficiency and provide assistance to the sales group as well as customers with expertise
Qualifications :
Bachelor degree in mechanical electrical automation or robotics engineering or related field
10 years of experience in industrial automation controls or robotics
8 years of experience in leading technical teams
Broad and deep understanding of customers across industries and segments and geographies
Strong business acumen and deep knowledge of project management methodologies and budget management
Experience and ability to adapt and build processes from the ground up
Proven leadership skills with experience building and managing teams
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and drive change across all levels of the organization
