The Servicing Tooling Platform team within the Servicing Tribe focuses on providing standardised backoffice tooling experience for agents and product engineering teams. As a software engineer on this team you will work on building a scalable and reusable platform that can be used to create efficient scalable and observable operational processes. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our tooling platform contributing to the overall success of our organisation.
Our main vision points are:
We standardise and enable Servicing Operational processes via a common abstractions and out of the box solutions reliable data and back office tools
We enable the quickest technical solution for product teams building manual work tooling with a wide range of use cases to accommodate the various needs of operational teams
We offer platformlevel support for any core and custom problems within our service along with easy guides for implementation troubleshooting and analysis
We ensure our service stability will not negatively impact operational work and that the services themselves are secure all while supporting the deprecation of legacy backoffice tooling
What does it take
A passion for technology product and user experience
A broad understanding of what it means to be a product engineer to drive measurable customer impact
The ability to work independently and plan your own solutions to problems
Thinking from the customer perspective and putting them at the heart of everything you do as youll guide them from their first experience on our landing page to completing a transfer and making sure theyre informed every step of the way
Is that you
You have at least 7 years of experience working with modern frontend frameworks such as React (and Typescript) or similar
You have experience working with backend languages and REST APIs
Understanding of good UX and comfortable working with CSS
Desire for creating clean testable code
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineers and nonengineers
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional peers in your team such as designers product managers analysts researchers etc.
It would be a bonus if you also have:
Experience with frontend back office design systems such as Ant Design
Experience working with modern testing tooling such as Jest Storybook Cypress or similar.
but dont worry we dont expect you to know everything!
What the first six months in this role will look like:
Youll have onboarded and found your place through understanding your team squad and guild vision and how you can contribute
Understanding the Wise product fintech space and our tech culture
Youll have fully developed new features from planning to release and keep monitoring their adoption once live
Gone through two quarterly plannings and proposed ideas to take your product further
