Job Description
As a network engineer for Global Network team you will be working in a globally diversified team environment to develop support and maintain network technologies which support organization business process and employee productivity while maintaining security. Working with global network team you will have a solid understanding of next generation networking latest technologies as well as experience working with new implementation projects.
Capability of working in a distributed team set up and operating in European time zone shift is required.
Key Duties
- Installing configuring and maintaining networking systems.
- Creating and implementing network security measures.
- Conducting regular network performance tests.
- Delegating networking maintenance tasks to NOC team
- Dealing with escalated network support issues.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in computer science Networking or related field.
- More than 2 year work experience as a networking engineer or similar position
- Advanced knowledge of network systems including Cisco PaloAlto and Azure Networking.
- Cisco CCNA CCNP Azure or other Network
- The ability to perform in a distributed team covering shift basis
Technical Skills
- Designing implementing and maintaining enterprise level network solutions
- Design and deploy functional networks (LAN WLAN WAN)
- Excellent understanding and experience of administrating network devices (Switches Routers Firewalls)
- Azure network administration experience
- Experience working with Cisco IOS and NXOS software Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and Cisco ISE (Identity Service Engine)
- Experience working with firewalls (Cisco and PaloAlto)
- Good knowledge in 2FA/MFA and PKI/certificate solutions
- Expert knowledge on administrating DNS DHCP and active directory
- Very good industry experience with patching/upgrading network equipment and reviewing software vulnerabilities
- Experience with Pal Alto firewalls configuring and troubleshooting will be added advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work effectively individually or in a teamoriented collaborative environment with great interpersonal and consulting skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate technical information with clients both internal and external (Clevel to frontline employees)
- Ability to research and apply knowledge effectively
- Managing network infrastructure and implementation including monitoring of network traffic and server optimization
- Proven analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment
