Job Description

The position is responsible to provide transitionary / project support to the Singapore Corporate Accounting Team.

Successful candidate will be placed under a 6month contract through our dedicated recruitment agency.

Responsibility

General Ledger / Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure accounting records are kept in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and records by collecting analyzing and summarizing accounts information.
  • Responsible for annual statutory audit for 3 entities in Singapore and Philippines and and assist in responding to audit queries preparation of audit schedules confirmations financial statements and notes to accounts and XBRL filing.
  • Ensure Annual Income Tax for 3 entities in Singapore and Philippines are completed in a timely and efficient manner to meet filing timeline and any tax positions taken and deviation from tax provision and past years tax returns are discussed and followed up with relevant management.
  • Ensure all other tax reporting for 3 entities in Singapore and Philippines Advance / Monthly / Quarterly Income Tax filing are filed on time and consistent with tax provision and past years tax returns.
  • Ensure all Indirect Tax reporting for 3 entities in Singapore and Philippines VAT GST withholding tax filing are filed accurately and timely.

Receipts / Payments and Other Responsibilities

  • Process hotel / interco receipts / Manage Payments for a few entities in Singapore and Philippines.
  • Carry out any other accounting related duties as assigned by Senior Manager and Director of Finance.

Qualifications :

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Office and Sun
  • Knowledge in Kyriba / Onestream an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of accounting standards
