Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Windows 11 Migration Engineer to manage deploy and maintain Windows 10/11 endpoint images across the organization ensuring security compliance optimal performance and smooth migration processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the migration project providing technical support for Windows endpoint devices and working closely with IT teams to ensure the success of the migration while addressing any technical issues that arise. This role also involves documenting procedures troubleshooting and ensuring endpoint security best practices are maintained.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Operating System Expertise: Extensive experience in troubleshooting and supporting Windows 10/11 operating systems with an indepth understanding of their configuration and management.
- Endpoint Management: Proficiency with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft SCCM MDT Intune or similar endpoint management platforms.
- Security Practices: Strong knowledge of endpoint security best practices and their implementation to ensure a secure environment for Windows devices.
- Technical Knowledge: Indepth understanding of Active Directory Group Policies Networking and Endpoint Security protocols.
- Scripting and Tools: Experience with PowerShell commandline scripts and SysInternals tools for system management and troubleshooting.
- Project Management: Ability to coordinate large projects including tracking progress managing risks and ensuring deadlines are met specifically for migration initiatives.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across IT teams and other departments ensuring project success and operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Windows 11 migration or similar largescale OS deployment projects.
- Certifications in Windows OS management or relevant IT certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Windows 10 or 11).
- Familiarity with cloud management platforms like Azure AD or Office 365.
