Job Description
Eddie Stobart are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in
Teesport (Middlesborough).
The role is based on a Tesco site in Teesport and will involve customer deliveries around the UK including delivering to Stores RDCs Warehouses and may involve some manual handling.
Shifts:
- TuesdaySaturday 04:00am.
- ThursdayMonday 16:00pm.
Salary:
- MondayFriday Days 13.50 per hour (including meal allowance)
- MondayFriday Night 14.90 per hour (including meal allowance)
- Saturday and Sunday Day 17.00 per hour (including meal allowance)
- Saturday and Sunday Night 17.50 per hour (including meal allowance)
- Bank Holiday 17.81 per hour (including meal allowance)
Qualifications :
- You should hold a valid HGV 1/CE Licence and hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
- No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
- Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
- Should comply with onsite health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication skills
