Job Description

Your new role

As our new Senior Lead Consultant you will be part of our interdisciplinary team in the Americas engaging with other business and technical professionals. You will work with all levels of technical expertise from entry level team members to members with decades of experience many of whom are subject matter experts in their own fields. You will engage in a continual learning environment through coaching mentoring and on the job tasks.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Evaluate federal state and local environmental regulatory requirements for waste air quality and water quality programs and preparing associated plans permits and reports;
  • Experience and willingness to conduct and assist with various environmental regulatory compliance tasks such as preparation of environmental plans (i.e. SPCC SWPPP BMP) preparing permit applications (i.e. wastewater etc.) conducting environmental compliance reviews and audits and preparing calculations for other environmental regulatory reports;
  • Provide regular and consistent communications to clients regulators and project team on key issues and developments;
  • Conducting field investigations including the collection of stormwater samples under the direction of a Qualified Industrial Storm Water Practitioner (QISP); and
  • Participate as an EHS compliance audit team member and/or conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).

About you

  • BS or MS in Environmental Chemical Geological or other related Engineering or Environmental Science;
  • 5 years experience with environmental due diligence assessments (e.g. Phase I Environmental Site Assessments) and/or environmental regulatory compliance experience (related to industrial and commercial facilities);
  • Strong technical skills and experience writing technical reports
  • Typically travels once per week to sites
  • Excellent communication interpersonal

At Ramboll your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $87000 $95000.  Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range depending on numerous factors including experience geographical location internal equity market conditions education/training and skill level and does not include bonuses overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits.
