Job Description
JewelsHire a distinguished leader in the realm of jewellery industry recruitment extends its invitation for a position at a renowned jewellery manufacturer located in Andheri East Mumbai.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding and monitoring company quality standards & processes defined.
- Supervising quality control team and making sure the quality standards and processes are followed on day to day basis.
- Review products processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made.
- Repair product if possible that fails quality standards before it gets shipped out to the customer.
- Reject products if required. Improving dept. efficiency and managing backlog inventory to minimum number of days (under 3 days).
- Actively participate during customer QC / QA schedule gathering and sharing feedback regarding product quality.
- To feed the QA head with quality assurance related points.
Requirements
Preferred Experience and skills:
- Understanding of the Local Jewellery retail market
- Passionate about jewellery/fashion
- Experience in family run business will be preferred
- Experience in skilling people handling larger teams and human resource orientation would be valuable
- Ability to work under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment
- Computer Excel Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Data analysis and statistical aptitude Good interpersonal skills.
Qualification:
- SSC / HSC Should have handled a QC inspectors previously and must have working experience in the domestic market for 5 years or above.
- Should be experienced in studying Data/ Reports.
