Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team (People) Management: Lead mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
  • Process Coordination: Oversee wide scope of the daily accounting operations in GSC including accounts payable accounts receivable general accounting treasury intercompany payments and financial reporting E2E accounting process.
  • Compliance: Ensure all accounting activities comply with internal policies group governance requirements and accounting standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and cooperate with Process Owner Organization to implement process improvements to enhance efficiency accuracy and timeliness of accounting operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports ensuring accuracy and completeness. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for accounting processes and initiatives. Perform the regular Service Governance Board meetings with main stakeholders from GSC and local organization.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Project Management lead and coordinate the deployment projects related to the country coming from internal (e.g. standardization) or external (Corporate) needs.

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in accounting Finance or a related field. CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification will be an added value.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role. Experience in SSC/BPO/GBS organization is preferable.
  • Openness to business travel and willingness to work in a hybrid mode (eight home office days per month)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective workload management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and practices in the wholesale business.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Change management practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both in Polish and English)
  • Knowledge of German (nice to have).
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
