Security Officer I A shift Monday-Wednesday and every other Sunday 5am-5pm

This job is responsible for performing routine patrol and clerical tasks that require some security knowledge at a 24x7x365 semiconductor manufacturing facility. This position will be responsible for the protection of Bosch employees contractors and company property. This individual will possess the physical fitness needed to stand patrol and perform necessary security duties for extended periods. This individual will also liaise with local law enforcement and emergency teams when required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly monitoring for unauthorized access safety hazards and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms maintaining attention to unusual activity and entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access theft or vandalism.
• Inspect and maintain the functionality of all security and safety systems within the facility.
• Manage and enforce access control protocols including verifying employee and visitor identification.
• Respond quickly and effectively to security and safety incidents including medical emergencies fires and other potential hazards.
• Assist in the evacuation of personnel during emergencies following all established emergency protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities incidents and irregularities such as equipment or property damage theft or unusual occurrences.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports to document security breaches accidents alarms that result in E.R.T. activations or other significant events.
• Coordinate with the security team supervisors and department heads to develop and enforce security policies.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies procedures and applicable safety and security regulations. Participate in regular safety drills and training sessions.
• Provide backup coverage for the main lobby including operating switchboard and greeting visitors.
• Create identification badges for employees vendors and contractors.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class C California Driverss license.
• Ability to obtain a valid California BSIS Guard Card.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced officer with strong skills in CCURE and Gallagher access control systems. Additional security certifications (e.g. CPR First Aid OSHA).
• Experience in security ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong observational analytical and problemsolving skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Excellent verbal written and customer services skills with strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• This role will be working on site in Roseville CA.

The U.S. base salary range for this fulltime position is $18.00 $23.00/hr with built in overtime. Pay depends on level of position.  Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role job location etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
