Job Description

The Data Strategy and Solution team owns the research creation and maintenance of all 27000 distinct Label Insight attributes along with all our proprietary taxonomies of claims certifications ingredients nutrients and categories that are the foundation of all Label Insight data. This team is composed of industry experts including dietitians food scientists chemists regulatory and product formulation experts. 

The Mid Level Attribute Solution Specialist of the Data Strategy and Solutions (DSS) department is a subject matter expert and owner of the regionspecific Nielsen Product Insights (NPI) solution. This position is a thought leader and innovator of attributes that excite the industry prospects and clients. They have a deep understanding of NIQ and Label Insight data and solutions allowing them to strategically build industryrelevant attributes that power client usecases. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement solutionspecific expansions in a new market with the creation of initial offering roadmaps and BAU processes.  

  • Research develop and launch regionspecific offerings for the NPI solution while collaborating with members of the DSS Sales and Customer Success teams across the globe. 

  • Serve as a consultant to crossfunctional Product and Engineering teams to communicate the customer voice identify risks and offer creative solutions and ideas. 

  • Support and educate Sales and Customer Success of solutions through customer life cycle to best achieve customer needs and outcomes.  

  • Interface with prospects and customers to communicate value of NIQ solutions nuances of data and build trust with sciencebased and datadriven thinking.   

  • Expected to learn BI and data querying tools basic rulebased languages along with mastery of internal NIQ tools and databases. 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree or higher  

  • 2 years experience in the FMCG industry either by working directly at a brand or retailer or via a thirdparty data or technology company consulting firm or agency. 

  • Comfortability working independently with limited guidance of how to work towards desired outcomes.  

  • Strong and polished customerfacing presentation skills with customercentric values.  

  • Speaks authoritatively to feasibility of projects hurdles and voices opinion to reject projects altogether based on logic limitations and/or roadmap when appropriate. 

  • Experience making datadriven decisions highlighting associated risks and gaining stakeholder alignment. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel PowerPoint Word SharePoint)  

  • Comfortable learning new technology platforms (Coding BI tools GitHub etc.) 

  • Detailoriented with the desire and ability to pick up new skills quickly

  • You may be asked to undertake additional duties to those above either on a temporary or permanent basis which the Company reasonably believes you are capable of carrying out or for which you will be trained.  

  • Relevant professional ethical and health and safety standards apply to this role 

  • Occasionally you will be required to travel nationally and internationally
