Location:

Salary Range:
up to 900 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday Friday 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM (EST)

About the Company:

At Assist Services we eliminate transportation as a barrier to childrens success. We do this by mobilizing outstanding adults who want to have a positive impact on children. Our drivers transport many schoolage students experiencing homelessness living in foster care living with mental or emotional special needs or other circumstances that make traditional yellow school buses a poor transportation option. Thats where we come in.

We match each student with a parttime driver who takes that student to and from school every day. Many of our drivers are current or former teachers nurses nannies babysitters personal caregivers nursing home aides social workers parents and grandparents who are eager to be a positive influence in their students lives.

Position Overview:

The Onboarding Assistant will be a key part of the onboarding process ensuring new hires are wellsupported and prepared for their roles. The ideal candidate will be organized detailoriented and capable of handling high volumes of communication effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with new hires to encourage scheduling and attendance at orientation sessions.
  • Review and confirm the accuracy of preorientation surveys.
  • Send orientation reminders to candidates.
  • Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling sensitive data.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the onboarding process.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of fulltime remote work experience (hybrid or temporary COVIDrelated remote work does not qualify).
  • Proven experience handling high volumes of phone calls (at least 1 year).
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English (reading writing and speaking).
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have:

>> A reliable computer with a camera and microphone.
>> Stable internet connection (minimum 15 Mbps).


Skills and Attributes:

  • Persistent organized and detailoriented.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and a fastpaced environment.
  • Resultsdriven and eager to exceed performance metrics.


Tools and Software:

  • Familiarity with Zoom and Google Suite (or equivalent).
