Job Description

Company Background:

A leading company in Selangor Malaysia operates from Klang near Kuala Lumpur and Port Klang. Established in the 1980s it started in used parts trading expanded into reconditioned trucks and later into importexport of used engines and spare parts across 30 countries. By 2009 it added new commercial vehicle sales.With over 25 affiliated entities in trading manufacturing marketing and finance it leads Malaysias used truck and spare parts market while leveraging strong global ties for continued growth.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Able to handle full set of accounts including GL AP AR monthly reporting statements of accounts.
  • To ensure the proper maintenance of records documents and filing that support all accounting entries.
  • To assist in monthly closing journal adjustments prepare closing reports and assist in audit and tax matters.
  • To handle daily accounting functions and monthly closing activities including the preparation and processing of monthend journals.
  • Responsible for producing and submitting accurate analyst reports including Profit & Loss Budget Cost Recovery Billing/Collection and Cash Flow Status.
  • Monitor the daytoday financial operations within the company such as invoicing stock cash float and other transactions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good problemsolving and time management skills.
  • Mature and independent with a good work attitude able to work independently with minimal supervision under pressure in a highvolume & fastpaced environment.
  • Maintain good communication with all departments as well as customers.
  • Assist with secretarial matters and liaise with external company secretary for the Company.
  • Manage recruitment onboarding and employee documentation.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws.
  • Oversee payroll attendance and leave management systems.
  • Facilitate employee training and development programs.
  • Handle employee relations and disciplinary actions ensuring fair and compliant practices.
  • Provide support to the team and any other ad HOC duties as assigned.

Job Requirement :

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 35 years of relevant experience in accounting and HR functions
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. AutoCount SQL or similar).
  • Knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
