Job Description
DBServices helps to design develop and support digital platforms for large and midsized companies in ITC Banking Retail Government Health and other industries in Europe and Americas.
Tasks
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using tools such as Selenium Tosca or SOAP UI.
- Perform API testing for RESTful services using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
- Implement and manage automated testing frameworks like JUnit TestNG NUnit or Mocha.
- Ensure crossbrowser and platform compatibility through detailed testing on different browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and create effective test plans.
- Leverage CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins Azure DevOps or GitLab CI) to integrate and automate tests within the pipeline.
- Work with databases like SQL Server PostgreSQL or MongoDB to validate backend functionality and data integrity.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies ensuring that quality is embedded in every step of the development cycle.
- Provide clear and actionable reports on test coverage results and identified issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in test automation for web applications including scripting with Java C# (.NET) or JavaScript.
- Handson experience with tools like Selenium Tosca SOAP UI or similar automation frameworks.
- Expertise in API testing and backend services validation with tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
- Solid understanding of testing frameworks like JUnit TestNG NUnit or Mocha.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins Azure DevOps GitLab CI) for automation and integration of testing processes.
- Experience with databases such as SQL Server PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of crossbrowser testing methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Agile development processes and QA best practices.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in exploratory and performance testing.
- Knowledge of cloudbased environments and testing on cloud platforms.
- Exposure to SRE practices and monitoring tools.
