Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare regulations particularly in the Medicaid space. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statemandated requirements conducting audits and supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations including Medicaid requirements.
    • Conduct regular audits to identify potential compliance gaps.
    • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely reports for state and federal agencies.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities.
    • Assist with the preparation of audit requests and responses.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Monitor quality metrics and identify areas for improvement.
    • Conduct quality assurance reviews of provider network activities.
    • Support the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provider Network Oversight:
    • Ensure that provider networks meet regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor provider performance and address any compliance issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with compliance monitoring tools and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
