Job Description
Responsibilities
- Writing proposing and posting journal entries.
- Reconciling general and subledger accounts by gathering and balancing information.
- Provide operational sales and financial reports using both the ERP system and resources from inside the organization.
- Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures in addition to complying with federal state and SarbanesOxley compliance.
- Work intradepartmentally to help in analysis of actual results vs. plan.
- Support various payroll and accounting functions as needed.
- Special projects and additional duties as assigned.
- Process payroll.
Requirements
- At least a 4year degree in accounting or finance.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to execute and followthrough to completion and documentation.
- Dedication to minor details and ensuring accuracy of all work products.
- Exceptional and proven verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred but not required.
