Division/Department: Group Finance
Job Purpose: To support the General Manager Group Finance in the area of financial controllership HQ entities with the ongoing restructuring of the Group s Finance function.
Responsible to/Report to: General Manager Group Finance
Key Responsibilities to assist and support the General Manager on the Group s Finance controllership in HQ entities on the following:
1. Oversee daily accounting activities including accounts payable accounts receivable bank & treasury and general ledger functions
2. Ensure transactions and balances are accurately recorded in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)
3. Support monthend and yearend account close processes ensuring timely reconciliations and account closing.
4. Review and analyse accounts cash ow and prot projections to generate management reports that reflect the financial performance of the business against plan.
5. Lead projects like revenue recognition process improvement and systemimplementation
6. Review business models identify nance and tax risks and propose solutions.
7. Assist management in setting the annual budget and tracking sales revenue and expenditure budgets.
8. Manage and supervise the accurate and timely maintenance of accounts receivables accounts payables and the overall accounting and financial reporting process
9. Supervise the preparation of audit and tax schedules and assist in corporate tax computations and submissions.
10. Assist the implementation and improvement of SOPs and internal controls process to supporting the smooth running of business and finance operation.
11. Assist in developing and administering financial and operational policies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements financial regulations (local Accounting Standard Income Tax Act and Services Tax Act) and Group policies.
12. Mentor coach and groom nance sta in the department.
Requirements
1. Degree in Accounting / Finance / Professional qualification ACCA/CPA and a member of IIAM / MIA / CIMA / MICPA.
2. Preferably 5 years of working experience in financial / accounting or relevant elds.
3. Strong in accounting / financial / audit analysis communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Able to work independently compliance driven and observe confidentiality.
