The Role: Make an Impact

Be part of our client s team as a Claims Reporter where youll initiate property insurance claims ensure accurate reporting and maintain effective client communication. Your role involves verifying claim details documenting information and preparing necessary documentation to support precise claim processing.

The Overview of the Opportunity

Employment Type: Indefiniteterm contract
Shift: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST
Work Setup: Onsite Bogota/Medellin


What Youll Be Doing: Your DaytoDay

  • Initiate property insurance claims accurately reporting damage and loss specifics.
  • Input all relevant claim and clientrelated information into the system ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct welcome calls to introduce clients to the firm provide their assigned assistants details and address immediate questions.
  • Send followup welcome emails to reinforce initial communication and share necessary contact information.
  • Obtain accurate client contact details including phone number email address point of contact and mailing address.
  • Organize and facilitate conference calls with clients and their mortgage companies to verify the insurance carrier covering the property.
  • Maintain knowledge of state statutes of limitations and update the system with relevant information.
  • Confirm claim details with insurance carriers clarifying and verifying specifics of the loss.
  • Draft Letters of Representation (LOR) tailored to the specific claim and applicable state requirements.
  • Record LOR drafting dates and update necessary fields in the system.
  • Gather detailed damage information directly from clients.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned to support department operations.

Requirements

What It Takes to Succeed: Your Skillset

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information to clients and team members.
  • Expertise in data entry and accurate information management.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
