This is a remote position.

Role Name: Business Development Manager/ Director

Schedule:

  • Fulltime 40 hours a week 8 AM to 5 PM 1 hour unpaid break

About Company

We are a Londonbased business development consultancy providing clients with growth strategies sales campaign plans and management of outreach programmes. The business specialises in working with small and mediumsized global businesses within the creative industries such as fashion design PR marketing and events.

Summary

We are looking for a seniorlevel experienced professional who can develop sales and marketing plans for our clients. Working directly with the Managing Director the Business Development Manager/ Director will be responsible for understanding each client in great detail developing sales strategies providing direction for lead generation managing everchanging priorities creating marketing plans and insights and overseeing as well as participating in the daytoday running of each campaign.

This role will be supported by a team of freelance virtual assistants as well as a highly collaborative relationship with the Managing Director.

Responsibilities

  • Builds crossfunctional teams to guide and nourish sustainable longterm growth
  • Conduct research to identify new markets leads and sales opportunities
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company s products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives
  • Prepare sales reports
  • Keep detailed records of sales activity
  • Support and develop entrylevel team members
  • Identifies and recommends new services
  • Researches and identifies new markets.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with vendors

Requirements and skills

  • 812 years of relevant business development experience
  • 4 years of senior management experience
  • Highlevel proficiency in professional English both written and spoken
  • Must have international work and client experience
  • Proven sales track record
  • Proven marketing experience
  • Highlevel understanding of business development growth and marketing concepts and best practices
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Monday Asana HubSpot)
  • Excellent Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Ability to constantly reprioritise
  • Extremely detailoriented
  • Strong selfstarter
  • Understand how and what appropriate work to delegate
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BSc/BA in business administration sales or a relevant field
