Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and efficient clinical care to adult patients.
- Lead department operations in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer Nurse Manager and Practice Manager.
- Drive continuous improvement in provider workflows patient satisfaction and overall operational performance.
- Recruit onboard mentor and retain clinical providers and staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local healthcare regulations.
- Analyze data to inform evidencebased decisionmaking and optimize clinical outcomes.
- Foster a culture of teamwork collaboration and ongoing improvement within the department.
Qualifications
- Board Certification: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Medical License: Active physician license in Connecticut (preferred).
- Experience: Providing care to underserved populations with complex health needs.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams even with limited administrative experience.
- Supervision: Experience supervising advanced practitioners (APRNs PAs) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with EHR systems and datadriven decisionmaking.
