We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in interior furniture and fitout to drive the growth. This role will involve identifying new business opportunities establishing longterm relationships with key clients and contributing to the companys strategic vision in the interior design and manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales design and delivering highquality solutions tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the interior furniture and fitout sector focusing on key industries like commercial hospitality retail and residential.
Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients understanding their unique requirements and offering tailored solutions.
Client Engagement:
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and initial consultation to contract negotiation and project handover.
Collaborate closely with internal design production and project management teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Provide exceptional customer service ensuring that clients needs are met and exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
Market Research & Strategy:
Analyze market trends competitor activities and emerging opportunities to position in the interior fitout and furniture industry.
Develop pricing strategies and proposals to maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
Project Management Support:
Support the delivery of client projects ensuring alignment with timelines budgets and client specifications.
Monitor project milestones and identify opportunities for upselling additional services or products.
Brand Promotion & Networking:
Represent Tripod Global at industry events trade shows and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and foster relationships.
Work closely with marketing and brand teams to align business development strategies with brand messaging and initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business Interior Design Architecture or related field.
Proven experience (5 years) in business development or sales within
the interior furniture and fitout industry ideally with experience in commercial residential or hospitality sectors.
Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle in interior fitouts and furniture manufacturing.
Established network within the design architecture or construction industries is highly advantageous.
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to client relations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
Familiarity with CRM tools and project management software.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in project management or coordination within the interior design or fitout sectors.
Knowledge of current trends in interior design furniture innovation and sustainable practices.
Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD SketchUp or
similar tools is a plus.
