Job Description
- Analyze the Tandem COBOL sources and generate functional insights for the Engg team provide clarifications on the implemented behavior.
- Detailed estimation of work requests based on WBS
- Understand customer requirements design develop and unit test solutions
- Preparation of technical design documents
- Walkthrough of design with Domain SME
- Review code deliverables
- Support SIT UAT cycles
- Application deployment verification
- A Bachelor s degree in computer engineering computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education training and work experience
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent communicator ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
- Attention to detail track record of authoring high quality documentation.
- Organized approach manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
- Knowledge of TAL COBOL ENSCRIBE SQL Tandem utilities such Base24 SQL/MP
