Minimum 5 years of frontend development experience required
Experience with modern SharePoint development essential
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement responsive SharePoint user interfaces using HTML5 CSS and JavaScript.
- Customize and enhance existing SharePoint templates and web parts.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and userfriendly interfaces.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and RESTful services.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure functionality and performance.
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on user needs.
- Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends related to SharePoint and frontend development.
- Create documentation for design processes code and user guides.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to endusers.
- Maintain version control and documentation best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Work in an Agile environment participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
- Assist in training and onboarding new team members on frontend technologies and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 years of frontend development experience specifically with SharePoint.
- Proficient in HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2013/2016/2019.
- Solid understanding of SharePoint architecture features and functionality.
- Familiarity with SharePoint development tools (e.g. SharePoint Framework SPFx).
- Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Exposure to version control systems like Git.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Experience in creating mobilefriendly designs.
