Job Title: Engineer/Senior Engineer (Electrical Design & Engineering) Substations (Primary Engineering)

Key Responsibilities:
Technical:
- Design Expertise:
- Develop designs and drawings for EHV substations (both AIS and GIS).
- Work on projects with substation voltages of 400kV or higher (experience in 765kV substations is preferred).
- Standards & Compliance:
- Ensure designs meet standards such as BIS IEC IEEE CBIP CEA ANSI ASME NBC NFPA.
- Prepare and review technical reports client specifications and design documents.
- Equipment Design & Knowledge:
- Understanding of switchgear transformers reactors and control & protection systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for failures in electrical equipment.
- Interfacing & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with electrical civil structural and mechanical teams for seamless project execution.
- Prepare quantity estimations and assess safety aspects during the design stage.
- Safety & Reliability:
- Assess and address safety aspects of substation designs.
- Evaluate risks and provide solutions to ensure operational reliability.
Commercial:
- Identify and assess risks and opportunities during the design and development process.
- Propose costeffective solutions and develop strategies for time and material optimization.
Communication:
- Deliver technical presentations and actively contribute to stakeholder discussions.
- Prepare technical reports specifications and documentation for internal and external use.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A Master s degree with specialization in Power Systems or High Voltage Engineering is preferred.
- Experience:
- 2 5 years in Electrical Design & Engineering for substations.
- Prior experience in EHV substation construction projects is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of EHV transmission lines and substation systems.
- Familiarity with design standards and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings client specifications and design requirements.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
