Job Description
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment.
- Develop scalable architectures for both onpremises and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to establish DevOps best practices and methodologies.
- Integrate CI/CD tools and frameworks within the development lifecycle.
- Assess and recommend cloud infrastructure services such as AWS Azure or GCP.
- Design and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate system configuration deployment and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development test and production environments.
- Ensure systems are secure and comply with industry standards.
- Provide mentorship and training on DevOps practices to team members.
- Monitor application performance and optimize existing infrastructure.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships across departments.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies impacting DevOps.
- Participate in architectural reviews and suggest enhancements to development processes.
- Document best practices processes and methodologies for future reference.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and operations.
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Git or similar.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Experience with container orchestration tools particularly Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible Chef or Puppet.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Bash or Ruby.
- Solid understanding of networking and security protocols.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana or ELK.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Certifications in DevOps or Cloud technologies are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Leadership experience in a technical environment is preferred.
