Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement French language training programs tailored to various skill levels.
- Provide highquality translation and interpretation services for documents and meetings.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate language proficiency and development needs of staff.
- Create instructional materials and resources for language learning.
- Collaborate with other language experts to ensure consistent language standards.
- Advise on cultural considerations in communication and marketing materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners in Frenchspeaking regions.
- Conduct workshops and seminars to improve French language skills within the organization.
- Evaluate and update language program content based on feedback and changing needs.
- Monitor and assess the progress of language learners effectively.
- Participate in the development of organizational multilingual strategies.
- Stay updated on trends in language education and Francophone cultures.
- Assist in creating bilingual documents and materials for public distribution.
- Provide support for French language events and community outreach programs.
- Contribute to the organization s diversity and inclusion initiatives through language promotion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in French language linguistics or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a language expert teacher or similar role.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken French and English.
- Certification in language teaching or translation (e.g. TEFL DELF).
- Strong understanding of French culture and sociopolitical contexts.
- Experience with language curriculum development and materials creation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using educational technology and digital tools for language teaching.
- Knowledge of assessment methods for language proficiency.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and presentations effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and projects.
- Experience in public relations or client engagement in Frenchspeaking markets.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Passion for teaching and promoting the French language.
