Overview
The Events Assistant plays a crucial role in the planning and execution of various petitioning events contributing to the success of the organizations marketing and outreach efforts. This position is essential in ensuring that all aspects of events from logistics to attendee experience signature and membership sign ups and are wellcoordinated and executed seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and organizing logistics for events including venue selection team assignments and equipment setup.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of eventrelated materials and services.
- Support marketing efforts by promoting events
- Prepare event materials such as signage name tags and handouts.
- Assist in managing event budgets and expenses.
- Provide onsite support during events including guest registration and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Conduct postevent evaluations and gather feedback for future improvements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to events.
- Assist in the coordination of speakers presenters and entertainment for events.
