Position Summary:
The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a fieldbased role responsible for cultivating current and future Thought Leaders by sharing evidencebased data to support commercialized products to introduce forthcoming products and to engage them in the company s clinical development programs.
Ideal Candidate:
1 3 years of industry MSL experience
ideally experience in gastroenterology or immunology but open to other therapeutic areas
Must have a PharmD PhD NP PA or MD
Key Responsibilities:
Thought Leader Development
Identify develop and maintain relationships with current and future Thought Leaders.
Develop speakers and advocates among Thought Leaders.
Link internal partners to external Thought Leaders for education and research collaboration.
Advisory board development of scientific content that is relevant and aligned with global priorities.
Link Thought Leaders to other external customers.
Publication planning and implementation.
Medical Education
Disseminate scientific information including innovative medical education materials and research concepts to Thought Leaders.
Deliver clinical and scientific presentations to healthcare audiences.
Key Requirements:
Degree from an accredited university (MSc PhD Pharm D MD) required.
Area of specialization related to therapeutic area preferred.
Postbachelor s degree from an accredited university (e.g. MBA or equivalent)
1 year in an MSL function.
Clinical experience in gastrointestinal and/or respiratory diseases.
