Overview
The VUI Designer for chatbots plays a critical role in shaping the conversational experiences of users interacting with AIdriven chatbots. This position demands a deep understanding of user behavior voice interaction principles and conversational design best practices. The VUI Designer will work closely with crossfunctional teams including product managers developers and UX/UI designers to create engaging and intuitive interactions that align with user needs and business goals. As chatbots increasingly become vital tools for customer engagement having a skilled VUI Designer ensures that the interfaces are not only functional but also enjoyable for users. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop voice user interface (VUI) concepts for chatbots.
- Create conversational flows that guide users effectively through tasks.
- Conduct user research to identify pain points and assess user behavior.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure feasibility of designs.
- Utilize prototyping tools to create wireframes and mockups.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Design HumanComputer Interaction or a relevant field.
- 5 years of experience in VUI UX design or related fields.
- Strong portfolio showcasing VUI design projects.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g. Sketch Figma Adobe XD).
- Deep understanding of conversational design principles and user journeys.
- Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
- Familiarity with voice recognition technologies and NLP (Natural Language Processing).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and design best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
