Overview
The Virtual Assistant for Nurses plays a pivotal role in supporting healthcare professionals by managing a variety of administrative tasks that allow them to concentrate on patient care. This position bridges the gap between nursing staff and administrative functions facilitating smoother workflows and enhancing overall efficiency within healthcare settings. Given the fastpaced and demanding nature of the healthcare industry the virtual assistant must possess exceptional organizational skills and a strong understanding of medical terminology. They will be responsible for coordinating schedules managing patient correspondence and ensuring that all necessary documentation is uptodate. Moreover they will work remotely providing flexibility and immediate assistance as needed. Their contributions will ultimately lead to improved patient care and satisfaction making them an essential part of the nursing team.
We are looking for virtual assistants who are registered nurses to assist with administrative tasks patient communication appointment scheduling and other support services. This role allows you to work from the comfort of your home while utilizing your nursing background.
Specializes in organizing patient care and treatments by including all members of the patient s care team. We often focuses on medical conditions such as diabetes congestive heart failure asthma chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and depression. Overall helps prevent gaps in patient care and assist in transitions of care. The goal is to improve patient outcomes assist patients in accessing the care they need (especially specialty care) prevent hospital and emergency room visits and promote a continuum of care for the patient.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least with 2year clinical or bed side experience
- Excellent English communication skills
- Interpersonal communication or customer service skills/call center experience is a plus
- Familiar with Electronic Medical Record or at least with basic computer skills
- CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS
