Job Description
- Perform takeoffs for structural steel components and details.
- Review vendor and subtier quotes to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Produce estimate summaries identifying scope requirements including buyout items.
- Assist in training Estimators in Training.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the structural steel industry in a similar role.
- Understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes.
- Construction experience.
- Experience reviewing contract drawings specifications and related documents.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Outlook and Microsoft Office.
- A degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
