Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled workers in various construction tasks.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris and organizing tools.
- Perform general cleanup duties on job sites.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision.
- Perform measurements and calculations as instructed.
- Mix pour and spread concrete or other materials.
- Assist in the assembly of structures and fixtures.
- Transport materials between locations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
- Participate in training programs to improve skills.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in labor or constructionrelated work preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Basic understanding of construction tools and machinery.
- Knowledge of safety practices in a labor environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Good physical stamina and endurance.
- High attention to detail and quality of work.
- Valid drivers license may be required in some locations.
- Flexible schedule and availability for overtime.
- Experience with manual labor techniques.
- Demonstrated problemsolving abilities.
- Willingness to learn new skills and tools.
