Job Description

Overview

The Hardware Design Developer specializing in Verilog plays a crucial role in the design development and implementation of hardware components and systems within the organization. This position is vital for the successful realization of complex electronic architectures by leveraging hardware description languages like Verilog to create efficient and highperformance designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement highperformance hardware systems using Verilog.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define hardware specifications.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of design processes and modifications.
  • Conduct simulations and validate designs using appropriate tools.
  • Optimize design for synthesis and ensure adherence to timing constraints.
  • Debug hardware systems using simulation tools and hardware testing equipment.
  • Engage in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster continuous improvement by assessing existing designs and suggesting enhancements.
  • Implement power optimization strategies in hardware designs.
  • Collaborate with software developers to ensure proper integration of hardware and software components.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends standards and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in verification activities to ensure design robustness.
  • Support the development of test plans and methodologies.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate design progress.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in hardware design and development.
  • Proficiency in Verilog or SystemVerilog.
  • Solid understanding of digital design principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with FPGA and ASIC design flows.
  • Familiar with hardware simulation tools (e.g. ModelSim Vivado).
  • Knowledge of timing analysis and optimization techniques.
  • Experience in debugging and troubleshooting hardware issues.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller architecture.
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity and power distribution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in formal verification methods is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
